Rivas Coffee Shop

Rivas Coffee Shop is open along the Strand in Walmer, Deal.

The café offers older students with special educational needs the opportunity to gain meaningful, real-world work experience in a supportive and professional environment.

Students take part in all aspects of café operations, including preparing food and drinks, serving customers, managing orders, and developing communication and teamwork skills. All activities are supervised by trained staff, helping students build confidence, independence, and employability.

The café is open during term time with regular hours of 10am to 2pm, Monday to Thursday. All proceeds support the school’s learning and vocational programmes. Come along, meet our students, have some tasty treats and support us!
