From January 2023,Trinity School and College in Rochester will become part of Ripplevale School and will be renamed as Ripplevale School, Rochester, thereby creating a small family of schools with three distinct offerings for families in Kent and further afield. These are:
Ripplevale School - Broadstairs
Offering a Lower School education to children aged 6-11 years with an autism diagnosis.
Ripplevale School - Deal
Offering an Upper School education to boys aged 11-19 years with an autism diagnosis.
Ripplevale School - Rochester
Our campus in Rochester will continue to offer an all-through education for children and young people aged 6 to 21+ years, with a focus on supporting autism and associated needs.
Our schools share many synergies, as well as the geography of a shared county. Aligning more closely together brings numerous exciting possibilities and opportunities for everyone.
For students, we look forward to offering opportunities to use the facilities at other campuses, such as for DofE expeditions and taster sessions in specialist vocational facilities, as well as opportunities for enhanced cross curricular activities such as inter-school tournaments and projects. For staff, we will continue to share best practice and build on professional development and training opportunities.
Most importantly, it provides more choice for families across Kent and Medway.
