Rewards

The school uses Class Charts as a behaviour management system that allows staff to not only record and share student behaviour across the staff team, but to also engage and encourage the students to take control, ownership and responsibility for their own behaviour.

The reward store is a system that allows the school to incentivise behaviour in a way that works for the students, giving them control in how they choose to be rewarded.  The School Council select the rewards for the rest of the school community.

Students can save up and spend their behaviour points on a variety of rewards including Yu-Ge-Oh cards, non – uniform days, games afternoons, vouchers to spend or to make charity donations.

This enables positive work to translate into rewards and is self fulfilling for students, they take ownership and responsibility for their actions.

Pupil engagement is high and proactively seek to earn positive behaviour points to go towards rewards of their choice.
