Our senior school is situated on the main site and was established in 1970. We aim to provide a positive, inclusive environment and access to a broad and balanced curriculum. Whenever practicable pupils are supported and encouraged to strive towards reintegration back into mainstream education.
Our Year 10 and 11 pupils are able to access a carousel course at a local college offering them the experience of trying a variety of vocational subjects. We also provide the opportunity for all of our pupils to sit seven or eight GCSE level examinations. In recent years the vast majority of our Year 11 leavers have gone on to study in further education.
Mr Sharman recently took some of the year 11 students on a fishing trip where they managed to hook a 5lb carp!!!
