Every individual is important at Ripplevale School. We have a clear vision of what we want for our pupils and we work hard as a team to enable every pupil to achieve those objectives. The residential team work closely with parents and carers to ensure that our pupils are happy, confident and relaxed. We aim to establish positive relationships with parents/carers so that we can ensure a consistency of programmes across the different environments of home and school.
Targets are set throughout the school and span all areas of development. In the residential department the focus is: • Life skills • Social interaction • Communication • Improving self esteem
Mr Sharman recently took some of the year 11 students on a fishing trip where they managed to hook a 5lb carp!!!
