| A co-operative atmosphere is fostered in the classroom where respect for self and each other is strongly emphasised. By providing a caring regime the school nurtures a pupil’s sense of well being and encourages them to relate to their peers and others within a socially structured and harmonious environment. |

Stability is provided by a caring committed staff team who are appointed because of their capabilities and willingness to contribute to the successful running of the school and who are committed to the success of the pupils. The school staff work in close co-operation with parents, carers and all professionals who may have input into the future of the pupil. Where practicable and appropriate the school’s aim is to return the pupil to mainstream education. Whilst attending Ripplevale Lower or Upper school as inclusive an educational and social experience is provided at all times. |
