Ripplevale Lower School

LOWER SCHOOL OPEN DAY

Ripplevale Lower School is situated on the site of the old village primary school. The school itself was built in the late nineteenth century but has been extensively modernised and extended. The main Ripplevale School site is situated about four hundred yards away. Ripplevale School Limited purchased the school in the early part of 2008 and the new school opens as Ripplevale Lower School in September 2008.

The lower school will accommodate the younger boys with a maximum of fifteen boys attending. Our pupils are all taught in small groups by subject specialists where appropriate. All staff have received additional training in working with pupils on the autistic spectrum and managing challenging behaviour. Classes comprise a maximum of six pupils with one class teacher and at least one classroom assistant. Where appropriate some pupils will receive additional 1:1 support.

We are proud to announce the official opening of Ripplevale Lower School on Saturday 11th October 2008 at 10 O’clock and warmly invite you to attend this memorable occasion. The main Ripplevale School site is situated approximately four hundred yards away.
